Moogsoft develops AI-driven incident management solutions for DevOps and IT Operations teams and later became part of Dell Technologies. The platform is designed to help large enterprises detect, correlate, and resolve incidents across complex, distributed infrastructure environments.

As Lead UI Designer, I owned the interface vision and end-to-end user experience across both Moogsoft Enterprise and Moogsoft Express. My role spanned from early product discovery and concept validation through to production-ready delivery. I translated highly technical AIOps capabilities into structured, usable, and visually coherent interfaces tailored for IT operators working in mission-critical environments.

A core focus of my work was redesigning and evolving the AIOps workflows that support incident triage, investigation, and resolution. The platform ingests vast volumes of event and alert data from monitoring systems, and my responsibility was to ensure this complexity was presented in a way that enabled fast comprehension and confident decision-making. I designed dashboards, alert correlation views, timeline explorations, and investigation panels that helped operators understand causality, prioritize effectively, and act quickly under pressure.

I produced high-fidelity prototypes to validate new concepts, ran structured design reviews with stakeholders, and collaborated closely with front-end and back-end engineering teams to ensure accurate implementation. Rather than treating design as a handoff, I worked as an embedded partner within engineering — aligning on technical constraints, refining interaction details, and iterating directly within development cycles.

To support scalability, I expanded and formalized the component library, introducing consistent interaction patterns, typography standards, spacing systems, and reusable UI modules. This created a stronger foundation for cross-product consistency while making it easier for engineering teams to build new features without reinventing patterns. Detailed design specifications and interaction documentation helped maintain clarity across distributed teams and reduced ambiguity during implementation.

Beyond visual refinement, my work centered on reducing cognitive overload in high-stakes operational contexts. Through usability evaluations and direct engagement with enterprise users, I refined workflows to remove unnecessary friction, clarify system states, and ensure that critical information surfaced at the right moment. The result was a more intuitive and operationally resilient interface that supported faster investigation and clearer collaboration between teams.

My contribution at Moogsoft was ultimately about transforming dense, real-time operational data into calm, structured, and actionable user experiences — enabling IT teams to detect, understand, and resolve incidents with confidence in complex, large-scale environments.
